Plaza Mexico has recieved special treatment from the city of Lynwood. Since they started the purchasing of properties around it, planning and building.
They have received low interest loans and, engineering consulting help at not cost, exemptions to licensing, code enforcement and many more.
First the city council gave a loan of over 7 million dollars for the project, paid over 80,000 because a real state transaction screw-up by the deveolper, 2 million dollars on Franchise Tax fees waiver.
The only business in Lynwood with a permanent permit to have any event they choose to have, with out restrictions.
I am waiting to see the benefits to Lynwood residents in tax revenues.
